US President Biden Announces Financial Aid Of $100 Million To People In Gaza Amid Suffering For Life

During his visit to Israel’s Tel Aviv on Wednesday US President Joe Biden said people in Gaza are in dire need of food, water, shelter and medicines. During his address he announced a $100 million aid to war hit Gaza and West Bank.

He even urged the Israeli cabinet to extend help to the civilians in Gaza who are constantly suffering for life.

While he announced the financial aid Mr Biden said, “This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians. And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups.”

“My message to any state or any other hostile actor thinking about attacking Israel remains the same as it was a week ago – Don’t. Don’t. Don’t.” said US President stressing upon his stand on US Supporting Israel.

Comparing the Hamas’ attack on Israel to 9/11 twin tower attacks in US, he said, “We have seen it described as Israel’s 9/11. But for a nation the size of Israel, it was like fifteen 9/11s.”

In his address he also urged the people of the country to not “rage” rather follow the law of war.

During his meet with the Israeli leaders, Biden said, “you are a Jewish state, but you’re also a democracy” adding “like the United States, you don’t live by the rules of terrorists. You live by the rule of law… You can’t give up what makes you who you are.”

He even noticed that the majority of Palestinians do not belong to Hamas.

The announcement of financial aid to people in Gaza and West Bank came a day after the US Secretary-General Antonio Blinken said that US and Israel had developed a plan to assist the people in Gaza with no assistance to Hamas.
