Leaders From INDIA Alliance To Wear Black As Part Of Protest Against Silence Over Manipur

Leaders from Opposition’s newly formed INDIA alliance have decided to wear black dresses as part of their protest against the House bench for not taking up the Manipur issue for discussion and on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Narendra.

The Opposition will be wearing black dresses today in the Parliament.

The decision was taken during a meeting of leaders of Opposition in the chamber in morning today as the leaders asked their MPs to wear black dresses.

The parties have decided to draw out their strategy on no-confidence motion against PM Modi, moved by Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi in Lok Sabha.

Since the video showing two women from Kuki community of Manipur being paraded naked was circulated over Twitter, the Opposition has been demanding a detailed discussion over the violence hit state.

The Opposition has even sought Prime Minister to address the issue in both the Houses.
