Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to the hospital since a week after she tested positive for Covid-19. She continues to stay in the ICU ward at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. She is being treated under the observation of Associate Professor Dr Pratit Samdani and his team.
When asked about her health, Dr Samdani said, “She continues to remain in the ICU under observation. There is a minimal improvement from the worst.”
The slight improvement in Lata Mangeshkar’s condition is a positive sign. The artist’s family has said that she is giving indications of progress and since this is a case of COVID, remembering the age factor, she needs to be under observation.
On Sunday, a news broke out that Lata Mangeshkar probably won’t keep well, yet instantaneously, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope issued an explanation that he was in contact with the specialists at Breach Candy emergency clinic and they had guaranteed him that Lata Mangeshkar was steady. A member from her family had also refuted a few media reports that said that her health had deteriorated and said that Lata Mangeshkar is much improved.
