Iran Claims Giving Warning Ahead Attack On Israel, Biden’s Administration Denies

In a retaliatory move against Israeli strike on Iranian embassy in Syria, Iran on Saturday, April 13 attacked Israel with drones and missiles.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said that they gave a notice 72 hours before the strike to all the neighbouring countries to Israel as well as the United States. However, a senior official from President Joe Biden’s administration has denied that any such notice was issued.

Meanwhile, officials from Iraq, Turky and Jordan have claimed that Iran had issued a notice on strike to both the neighbouring countries and the US.
Speaking to media, the senior official from Biden’s administration claimed that Iran only communicated after the attack.

In the wake of the Iranian attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) suggested a number of responses to the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu. The suggested responses range from strikes to avoiding immediate action.

Operational plans for both offensive and defensive action remain approved now and Israel is on high alert following the fresh strike, said the Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.

“Even while under attack from Iran, we have not lost sight—not for one moment—of our critical mission in Gaza to rescue our hostages from the hands of Iran’s-proxy Hamas,’ he said further.

Iran’s attack has been widely criticized by the United Nations. US Ambassador Robert A Wood has even warned Tehran of any further attack on US and Isarel in UN Security meeting on Sunday, April 14.
