Hamas militants on Friday called for protests against Israel’s continuous bombing, requesting Palestinians to march towards East Jerusalem Al-Aqsa Mosque and fight against Israeli force in West Bank.
Israel has been continuously bombing at Gaza in its retaliation against the Hamas militants who have killed around 1,300 Israeli civilians. However, over 1,500 Palestinians have also been killed in the war so far.
As per the Palestinian officials, at least 34 Palestinians have been killed in clash with Israeli troops since last Saturday.
Hamas militants have requested Palestinians to hold their protests in the compound of Al-Aqsa Mosque and stay there through out the day. The mosque is considered to be the Middle East’s most holy place where Musla hold their weekly prayers.
The compound is most sacred to Jews, who refer it as the Temple Mount and for Muslims it is the third holiest place after Mecca and Medina.
In 2021, 11-day Israel-Gaza war was set off after multiple clashes in compound.
