G20 Summit: PM Modi Welcomes World Leaders At Mandapam. President Biden Holds Talk With PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed World leaders who arrived in Delhi at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre for G20 Summit scheduled for September 9 and 10.

The first session of the summit will begin around 10:30 am under the theme for 2023 ‘One Earth’.

While On September 8, US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the notification process in US Congress on August 29 for commercial deal between Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and General Electric Aerospace that will manufacture GE F-414 jet engines in India and also for beginning of discussions for the same.

The two leaders also praised the settlement of last World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute between the two nations.

Nine countries — Egypt, Nigeria, Oman, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Spain, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and Singapore have been invited under India’s presidency when G20 nations have been trying to balance the agenda between the Global South and western nations.

President Joe Biden arrived New Delhi on Friday evening and he went directly to Prime Minister Modi’s official residence for bilateral talks.

In next two days, PM Modi will be holding over 15 bilateral discussions.
