As Congress leader Ajay Maken reminded Kejriwal that he made a promise in 2013 to refrain from using a car with a red light, extra security, and an official house, the Congress joined the latest controversy the BJP has brought up in the nation’s capital on Tuesday. However, he purchased marble polished by Dior, pricey draperies, and fine carpets, and his party is called the Aam Aadmi Party, according to Maken.
While the BJP spearheaded the widespread campaign against Kejriwal, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha claimed that certain individuals have developed a strong desire to debate the carpet, curtain, pillow, and pillowcases that Kejriwal uses. “I want to remind them that you should also bring up the new helicopter that Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani spent 191 crore on. Additionally, the Madhya Pradesh chief minister spent 20 crores refurbishing his home. Please have a discussion about PM Modi’s home and the sum of money spent on the IIT event in Bengaluru in one day. The comparison will then be fair, Raghav added.
