28 Girl Students At Residential School In Telagana Tests Covid Positive, Parents Pleads To Send Their Daughters Home

On Sunday, 28 girl students at a government residential school in Wyra in Telangana’s Khammam district tested positive for Covid-19.

Parents of the school’s children went to the school after learning of the virus’s spread and pleaded with the management to send their daughters home.

Meanwhile, the health administration has chosen to provide Covid testing to all kids and personnel at the school, including teachers. The residential school has a total of 575 students.

T Harish Rao, Telangana’s health minister, called the district health authorities to inquire about the health of the students who had tested positive. He directed officials to give them with advanced medical care and to take preventative steps to prevent the spread of Covid in the area.

Telangana recorded 103 new Covid cases in 24 hours on Sunday.
