After 132 days, India had registered less than 30,000 new COVID-19 cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (July 27, 2021).
The country has had 29,689 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the active corona virus caseload below 4,00,000 for the first time in 124 days.
The active case count is presently 3, 98,100, accounting for 1.27 percent of all cases.
The weekly positivity rate is now at 2.33 percent, while the daily positivity rate is at 1.73 percent, according to the Health Ministry.
Between Monday and Tuesday morning, there were 415 corona virus-related fatalities and 42,363 recoveries. With this, the overall number of people killed has risen to 4, 21,382, while more than 3.06 crore people have been rescued.
Meanwhile, the overall number of people vaccinated has surpassed 44.19 crore.
