Ira Khan, the daughter of superstar Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta, is scheduled to wed her lifelong partner, Nupur Shikhare, in January of next year.
The couple just began their pre-wedding activities, but according to a recent development, Aamir and Reena have organised a lavish celebration for their child, and their wedding invitation has also appeared online.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, a couple in love, announced their engagement in November 2022 and plan to tie the knot on January 13, 2024. Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the Mumbai wedding ceremony, which is scheduled to take place, as per a special report.
The article also states that Ira’s parents, Aamir and Reena, are giddy with happiness and that the family is occupied with getting ready for the wedding.
In the meantime, the elegant and minimalist wedding invitation for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare has made its way online. Although we are unsure if it is the official wedding invitation, the gorgeous white card with touches of black and gold struck our eye. On top, the initials of Ira and Nupur add sophistication.
“It gives us great pleasure to invite you to celebrate the marriage of our children Ira & Nupur,” said the card’s message. Join us as we bless the couple, please. Saturday, January 13. Love Aamir, Reena, and Pritam. Only blessings.”
Ira had already given her bridesmaids a personalised puzzle that they had to figure out in order to find out the wedding date.
Ira Khan previously disclosed that she wasn’t initially interested in dating Nupur in an interview with India Today. She said, “At first, I was like ‘we should not date because I don’t want to get into a relationship with you, because I don’t know what is going on in my head, who’s if you want to deal with it or not.”
“And I debated that idea back and forth for a very long time. I discovered later that he was an adult. Shall I ask him instead? I was like, “Listen, all these thoughts are going through my head,” when I asked him. And that’s how our relationship began,” she continued.
