‘Victories At Academy Awards Are All Rigged,’ Jacqueline Fernandez’ Makeup Artists Shocks Everyone

The historic Oscars 2023, where RRR’s Naatu Naatu received the Best Original Song prize, are being celebrated in India. In the midst of all of this, Shaan Muttathil, Jacqueline Fernandez’s makeup artist, has garnered notice and angered and disappointed everyone.

Shaan Muttathil recently mocked the Oscars 2023 winners in an Instagram photo. He asserted that the Academy Awards are fixed and that money can be used to purchase victories. “This is hilarious, hahaha. I actually believed that we could only purchase awards in India. And even the Oscars now. Money and everything we can purchase with it. Even Oscars are funny,” he remarked. The remark has since been removed, though.

The song “Applause” from the Jacqueline Fernandez movie “Tell It Like a Woman” was also competing for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category, it should be mentioned. Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick,” Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and Son Lux, Mitski, and David Byrne’s “This Is A Life” from “Everywhere All at Once” were also nominated in this category.

At the prestigious event, RRR’s Naatu Naatu was named Best Original Song. At the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, Deepika Padukone presented the song. This song’s catchy chorus, electric beats, and matching killer dance routines have made it a worldwide hit. It plays during a crucial moment in RRR, a film about the friendship between Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two real-life Indian revolutionaries. It’s a total banger, illustrates the anti-colonialist themes of the movie, and is performed in Telugu. The first song from an Indian production to ever be nominated for an Oscar, it has millions of views on YouTube and Tiktok, audiences dancing in movie theaters all over the globe, and more, she said to the applause of the crowd.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the creators on their momentous victory on Twitter as well. Star Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Allu Arjun, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Vivek are some of the celebrities who attended. Additionally congratulating SS Rajamouli and his crew was Ranjan Agnihotri.
