According to his party’s leader Waris Pathan, Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, was aboard the Vande Bharat Express when it was attacked with stones by unknown individuals in Gujarat. Pathan asserted on Monday that the AIMIM leader, Sabir Kabliwala, the party’s state president for Gujarat, and other party leaders were on board the “Vande Bharat Express” travelling from Ahmedabad to Surat when the event occurred, with only around 25 kilometres remaining to the final destination.
The AIMIM leader tweeted, “Some unidentified persons smashed the glass by pelting stones on the train this evening while we were riding in the ‘Vande Bharat Express’ train from Ahmedabad to Surat,” along with photographs of the broken window glass.
Pathan said in a video that Asaduddin Owaisi’s coach had two stones thrown back-to-back while speaking at a public gathering in Gujarat. “Today, we took the Vande Bharat Express to get from Ahmedabad to Surat. When we were 20 to 25 kilometres from our destination, a stone was thrown, breaking the window pane. Owaisi was occupying a seat in the bus. Someone hurled two stones at each other. You can throw rocks or set fire to anything, but we will continue to speak up for our rights “AIMIM’s leader asserted.
On September 30 of this year, the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express train was started off in Gandhinagar by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On December 1 and 5, the state is scheduled to hold assembly elections. On December 8, the votes will be counted.
