Recently, Urvashi Rautela and cricketer Rishabh Pant were involved in a dispute in which they were both caught on camera making veiled jabs at one another. Urvashi Rautela cited a particular RP who insisted on meeting her when she was in New Delhi, and that’s how it all began. ‘RP’ waited for Urvashi in the lobby, she said in an interview. After she made her comments, cricketer Rishabh Pant used social media to discuss “celebrities lying during interviews” in his tweet without mentioning any specific individuals. Urvashi responded to the blame game and has already taken it a step further by apologizing to RP on camera.
In a recent video that Instant Bollywood posted on social media, Urvashi Rautela was asked whether she had any advice for a particular RP. “Seedhi Baat No Bakwaas,” she said in response. (Short and to the point; no equivocations). When she was directly questioned about the “RP,” Isiliye replied, “I won’t commit any bakwaas. “All I want to say is that… what shall I say? Nothing,” she continued. I’m sorry, I really am.
I was filming in Varanasi and had a show in New Delhi, Urvashi Rautela stated in the interview. I had a full day of shooting and then had to prepare for the concert at night. In the foyer, Mr. RP was waiting for me. But after the show, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep. Several calls came in. I noticed between 16 and 17 missed calls when I woke up. I felt horrible that someone was waiting for me out of respect. I don’t belong to the group of women who will wait for a man simply because he is a man. Cricket player Rishabh Pant then commented on this on social media, saying, “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some little popularity and for making the headlines. It’s sad that some people have such a craving for name recognition. God bless them, please. #jhutkibhilimithotihai #merapichachorhoBehen
Despite the fact that he removed the tweet, Urvashi continued to add on Twitter, saying, “Chotu Bhaiyaa should play bat ball. With the tiny child, my dear, Munni nahi hoon badnam hone. #Rakshabandhan Mubarak Ho, Tere Liye. Don’t take advantage of a silent female, #RPChotubhaiyaa #Cougarhunter
With Urvashi Rautela’s most recent apologies, we wonder what Rishabh Pant will say as her follow-up.
