Uttar Pradesh’s GautamBuddha district, where Noida is situated on Tuesday reported 107 fresh Covid cases. Out of these 107 cases, 33 were school students. The district currently has 411 active cases.
However, 32 people have recovered in last 24 hours in the district.
On Monday, 65 new cases were reported in the district, out of which 19 we’re school students.
So far, the total number of Covid cases reported from GautamBuddha Nagar since the first Covid-19 outbreak are 99,154.
Meanwhile, the total number of new cases reported in the country have dropped from yesterday to 1,247 on Tuesday. On Monday, the new cases reported stood at 2,183. Only one death have been reported in last 24 hours.
Currently, the daily positivity rate stands at 0.31%, while the weekly positivity rate at 0.34%.
By 8 am today, the total active cases in the country stood at 11,860.
India’s vaccination so far has exceeded 186.72 crore mark.
