After considerable anticipation, the makers of 83′, one of the most eagerly anticipated films in recent memory, have unveiled the teaser for India’s most famous cricket match. The cricket drama, based on the extraordinary true storey of the underdogs who pulled off the unbelievable, is planned to enter theatres on December 24, 2021.

Ranveer Singh will take up Kapil Dev’s role in the film. Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree, and Pankaj Tripathi also star. Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife, will be played by Deepika Padukone.
83, a Kabir Khan Films production, is presented by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures. 83 will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 24, 2021. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will be presented by Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios, in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment. The film will be released in Malayalam and Kannada, thanks to Prithviraj’s production and Kichcha Sudeepa’s Shalini Arts.
