After his Baahubali, SS Rajamouli has returned to control the screens with his much-anticipated film RRR. The film featured by Ram Charan and Jr NTR is made on a grand scale and promises a visual spectacle.
The trailer of the film was delivered recently followed by an excellent event in Mumbai went to by the group of RRR including SS Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Jr NTR.
Soon after the release of the trailer, there were a few comparisons of the film with Prabhas starrer Baahbauli in terms of perception and treatment of the film. Discussing the differences, Rajamouli said, “Many people will expect a film on the lines of Baahubali, but we can’t make the same thing again and again. We can’t do that, and what I think is that the audience is looking for the same kind of emotion and experience. I am aware of the kind of expectations people have, so I will bank on my story and the characters. It is everything that we show in the theatre that people will see. So what we offer should be the best. Audiences will realize that they wanted that kind of experience, not the same film.”
The film RRR is an anecdotal tale around two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who battled against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad separately. The Telugu-language period activity show film is delivered by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. RRR is releasing on seventh January, 2022.
