SRK Opens About His Altercation With Security Guard At Wankhede Stadium At Aap Ki Adalat

The legendary Wankhede stadium in Mumbai is a must-talk topic when discussing cricket in the nation, and no discussion about the stadium would be complete without bringing up the notorious fight that superstar Shah Rukh Khan got into there. Shah Rukh got into a fight with security personnel and cricket body officials in 2012, which resulted in a five-year ban from MCA properties, including the Wankhede Stadium. Three years later, the ban was removed.

Shah Rukh described the events leading up to the incident in a previous appearance on Aap Ki Adalat. He claimed that a religiously charged word uttered by the security personnel set him off. “Yes I was very angry and upset. My kids were there and I thought someone… Maybe they had a rule, that hatao yaha se. I told him, these are our kids and we are taking them. I just said this. There was a person there who said a word which I, as a Delhi person, felt like it was an abusive word. Even though the same word in Marathi is also rude. Thoda sa religious, galat tha woh (It was religious, it was wrong). I then lost my cool, main pagal hogaya and I went to hit him,” the superstar recalled.

After Shah Rukh’s Kolkata Knight Riders IP team defeated the Mumbai Indians, there was an altercation. At the time, a PTI article said that the superstar had refuted claims of misbehaviour and insisted that he only became upset when youngsters, including his own, were being “manhandled” by stadium security.

Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the India vs. Australia World Cup final with his wife Gauri and kids Aaryan, Suhana, and AbRam. Regarding his career, Shah Rukh is enjoying remarkable success in the film industry. With Pathaan, the actor broke all box office records at the beginning of the year. Then, with Jawan, he broke Pathaan’s records as well.

He’s waiting for the release of his next masterpiece, Dunki, right now. The social comedy drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani is scheduled for release on December 21. This will be his fourth big motion picture appearance of the year, following a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
