King, the first theatrical feature directed by his daughter Suhana Khan, is being heavily promoted by Shah Rukh Khan. Siddharth Anand, the director of Pathaan, is working on the action sequence, with Sujoy Ghosh directing. However, Shah Rukh is also actively participating in the entire undertaking. Red Chillies Entertainment, his banner, is producing “King.” It was reported a few days ago that SRK had contributed Rs 200 crore to the movie.
In the movie, Shah Rukh Khan is set to reprise his role as a don. Because the superstar’s character is considered to be the “king of underworld,” the movie’s title has remained “King.” Earlier it was being told that this would be the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film Leon: The Professional. But the makers have not confirmed this news yet. Sources quoted in the report that ‘King’ is Shah Rukh’s passion project. “Along with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh, even the superstar is working hard on every aspect of the film. Together, these three have created a cool, swag character of SRK for King,” revealed the source.
There have been rumours circulating about “King” that the movie has been shelved. However, this was untrue. The film’s pre-production has received a great deal of attention. After then, in September 2024, filming on the movie will begin. Suhana and Shah Rukh Khan are currently undergoing rigorous training for the film’s action scenes.
