The actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are scheduled to tie the knot on June 23. On Thursday night, Sonakshi’s father, seasoned actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, was spotted in Mumbai with the soon-to-be couple. This follows allegations that there is discord in the Sinha family and that Shatrughan may not be able to make it to the wedding.
Zaheer and his family were observed leaving a residential building with Shatrughan and his spouse, Poonam Sinha. Sonakshi Sinha was also captured on camera, although not together. The photographers gathered around Shatrughan and Zaheer asked the veteran actor to utter his well-known catchphrase, “Khamosh,” and he complied cheerfully.
Sonakshi was photographed entering the venue, but she had a mask on when she left. Her face was hidden behind a towel covering her window as her car backed out the gate.
Shatrughan Sinha refuted claims claiming he wouldn’t be attending the wedding on Thursday when he spoke with Zoom. Without a doubt, I’ll be present for the wedding. Why won’t I and why shouldn’t I? I am happy when she is happy, and vice versa. In addition to saying that Sonakshi and Zaheer “look very nice together,” he told Zoom, “She has every right to choose her partner and the other details of her wedding.”
Rumours of a rift started when, almost a week ago, the veteran star told Times Now that he was “waiting to be informed” about his daughter’s wedding. He said, “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (Nowadays, children don’t seek permission; they simply inform their parents).”
