Rishabh Pant Sustains Heavy Injuries After His Car Collides With Divider And Catches Fire

Rishabh Pant, an Indian cricketer, was travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand when his car hit a divider and caught fire, injuring him. While Pant was operating his Mercedes, an accident occurred close to Roorkee in Uttarakhand. The batsman was alone in the automobile at the time of the collision, and according to Uttarakhand Police Director General Ashok Kumar, he broke the windscreen to get out of the burning car.

As a result of the collision, he has head, knee, and shin injuries. He is receiving treated at the Max Hospital in Dehradun for what might be a fracture in his leg.

“Around 5:30 am, the car of Indian batsman Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident. Near Roorkee, in Mohammedpur Jat, the incident occurred. Pant said that he fell asleep behind the wheel, causing the car to crash into the divider and catch fire. He was transferred to the Roorkee hospital, and is currently being transferred to Dehradun “DGP Ashok Kumar spoke with the press.

Rishabh Pant is receiving treatment at Max Hospital for a small injury to his waist, according to Dr. Ashish Yagnik. He is conscious and out of harm’s way.

Pant was a member of the Indian side that defeated Bangladesh in a Test series by a score of 2-0 earlier this month. His knocks of 46 and 93 had made an impression.

He had been scheduled to join the National Cricket Academy for a strength and conditioning programme in preparation for Australia’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy match in February but was recently cut from the T20I team named for the series against Sri Lanka.

Photos of Pant’s Christmas celebration in Dubai with former India captain MS Dhoni and his family were posted on social media by Sakshi Dhoni, Pant’s wife.

After MS Dhoni’s retirement, Pant has been India’s go-to wicketkeeper across all formats. Over the past two years, he has also been one of India’s best batsmen in Test cricket.

In Australia in 2020–21, India won the second straight Test series thanks in large part to him.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, has announced that the state will pay for all of Rishabh Pant’s medical expenses. He has also stated that if Pant has to be moved, an air ambulance service will be available.
