Ramesh Pokhriyal To Interact With Women In The Field Of Education Today On International Women’s Day

The International Women’s Day is observed on March 8 every year to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields of whether national, economical, social, political or linguistic and also to make people aware about the women’s rights.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal today on the occasion of International Women’s Day is set to talk to the women principals in colleges and women Vice Chancellors in Universities on the topic of ‘Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world’.

The minister will also talk with school girl students and release comics of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

“On International Women’s Day, I will be talking to women Vice Chancellors and women Principals of universities and colleges on the topic ‘Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world’,” tweeted the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.

Later he again tweeted, “Will be interacting with girl students schools and releasing comics of CBSE on the occasion of International Women’s Day”.

The International Women’s Day is observed on March 8 every year to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields of whether national, economical, social, political or linguistic and also to make people aware about the women’s rights.

It was first emerged in 1911, when women came on streets speaking for their rights and demanded for fewer working hours with a better remuneration and also a right to vote.

This year the theme for the International Women’s Day is “#ChangeToChallenge.” Which aims at bringing gender equality, spreading awareness about women’s rights and celebrating their achievements.
