Rajasthan Congress’ Leader Creates Storm In BJP, Allegedly Refers To Pulwama Terror Attack

In head of Rajasthan Congress The BJP is up in arms over Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa’s divisive remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the same way that Rahul Gandhi “tries to defame the country’s image abroad,” senior party leaders have accused him of insulting the nation and the Prime Minister.

In a recent speech at a Congress dharna calling for action on the Hindenburg Report, Mr. Randhawa urged his party to put a stop to internal strife, which is making news almost every day. Ahead of the elections later this year, all eyes are on the conflict between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his erstwhile deputy Sachin Pilot.

He had said in the speech on Monday, “I am urging all leaders — finish fighting among yourselves and think of finishing Modi. Hindustan might endure if we can defeat Modi. He declared, “Hindustan will be destroyed if Modi is present.

His remarks regarding the terror assault in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 40 soldiers in February 2019, months before the Lok Sabha elections, seem to have offended the BJP the most.

“What caused Pulwama? Make inquiries. Was he trying to win the race by doing this? said Mr. Randhawa. They assert that they are the greatest of all patriots. Modi doesn’t understand what “deshbhakti” means. Which BJP leader battled for India’s independence? Added he.

Within a few hours, state BJP leader Satish Poonia responded. Mr Randhawa, he said, “has insulted martyrdom in the country, has insulted the dignity of the post of Honorable Prime Minister, the whole country has been humiliated,” he said.

“Mr. Randhawa, political sacrifice is not. Therefore, it should not be forgotten that martyrs did not work in politics to ensure the nation’s independence. They paid with their lives to gain independence, he continued.

The BJP is looking for a significant comeback in Rajasthan, which has a “revolving door” mandate. However, there are many points of contention within the party as well, with former chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia trying to reclaim the role of the party’s spokesperson.
