On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Congressman Rahul Gandhi persisted in criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Gautam Adani controversy. Gandhi claimed that Adani assisted PM Modi in developing the concept of a “resurgent Gujarat” when he spoke during the Lok Sabha debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address. He also connected the rise in Adani’s commercial riches and personal wealth to the 2014 election of the Modi government.
In order to emphasise their apparent intimacy, the former head of the Congress also exhibited a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani together in the business tycoon’s aircraft.
Rahul Gandhi claimed in his speech that he spoke with people of all ages during his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and that many of them adopted the name “Adani.”
