PM Narendra Modi To Inaugurate 10th Gujarat Summit With UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed As Guest

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to open the tenth Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Chief Guest Mohamed Bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates will be joined by a number of other international dignitaries and business professionals. “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success” will also be commemorated at this year’s summit.

Details released by the Gujarati government indicate that over a thousand exhibitors from 20 different nations would be taking part in the trade fair. About 100 countries are taking part as trade exhibition visitors, while 33 countries are participating as partners. Thirteen halls centred around different themes, such as “Make in Gujarat” and “Self-reliant India,” will be present at the venue.

The event will be officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. in Gandhinagar. The trade show will be open to business visitors on January 10-11 and to the public on January 12-13.

In 2003, it was initially conceived by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Inaugurated during the Navratri festival, the inaugural Summit brought together over a thousand participants and dignitaries from forty-five countries.

On the eve of the main summit, PM Modi opened the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024. There are participants from 20 nations in this expo, which occupies 2 lakh square metres across several halls at the Helipad Ground expo Centre.

With the theme “Gateway to the Future,” the tenth Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will take place in Gandhinagar from January 10–12. This year’s Summit is being held in conjunction with 16 partner organisations and 34 partner countries.

The chief guest for Wednesday’s inauguration ceremony will be Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates. Once he arrived on Tuesday evening, the two leaders had a bilateral meeting and signed many memorandums of understanding. Along with these two Summit attendees, the PM also had bilateral discussions with the presidents of Mozambique and Timor-Leste, Jose Ramos-Horta and Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.

A range of internationally significant themes, including Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy, and Transition towards Sustainability, will be covered during the Summit through seminars and conferences.
