PM Modi Urges People To Take 10 Pledges On Dusshera During Celebrations In Delhi

During his Tuesday visit to the DDA Ground in Dwarka, Delhi, PM Modi encouraged the public to make ten promises, one of which was to improve the socioeconomic standing of a minimum of one impoverished household.

A sea of people waited impatiently to witness “Lanka Dahan,” and organisers on the dais at the arena gave the PM a traditional greeting.

“Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai” was chanted as the PM opened his speech. He also wished the people a very happy Vijayadashami and Navratri.

In a subtle jab at the INDIA bloc, which has been advocating for a nationwide caste census, the prime minister stated that “Ravan Dahan” ought to be about more than just burning an effigy; it should also be about opposing forces that seek to split “Maa Bharati” on the basis of regionalism and casteism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanded that socially destructive distortions like casteism and regionalism be eradicated.

PM Modi said the construction of Lord Ram Temple on Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya is a sign of victory of patience. “Today, we are fortunate to see Lord Ram Temple being constructed on Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya after a long wait. It is a sign of victory of our patience,” he said.

PM Modi said the Dussehra festival symbolises the victory of good over evil.

PM Modi said, “We know the knowledge of Gita and also building INS Vikrant and Tejas. We know “maryada” of Shri Ram and also how to protect our borders.”
