Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the first day of his two-day visit in his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi launched a number of development and infrastructure projects in the city including the launch of Kanyakumari-Varanasi Tamil Sangaman train.
He also took part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and walked through the stall and attended a Quiz event where he talked with the beneficiaries of number of government schemes.
Today on the second day of his visit, the Prime Minister is set to flag off the second Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and New Delhi. Giving boost to the logistics sector he will also inaugurate the New Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to New Bhaupur Junction segment of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor.
