Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman AI Saud in Delhi. Topics including economy, trade, cultural cooperation a d defence are on agenda today.
The Saudi Crown Prince has visited Delhi for three days and his tour began with G20 Summit in New Delhi.
The two leaders will together chair the First Leaders’ Meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council. It id a bilateral agreement between the two nations signed in Riyadh in 2019.
They will also review the progress made by the two ministerial committees of the Strategic Partnership Council — the Economy and Investments Cooperation Committee and the Political, Security, Social and Cultural Cooperation Committee.
The meeting will be covering all aspects of bilateral relations such as defence, security, economy, trade, political and cultural ties. They will even discuss international as well as regional issues.
The government data shows, the trade between the two nations have reached all time highest of USD 52.75 billion in fiscal year 2022-23.
