PM Modi Lashes Out At Congress Over Rejecting Lord Ram Pran Pratishtha Invite

On Tuesday, the Congress was criticised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ‘insulting’ Lord Ram and attempting to’stall the construction’ of the Ayodhya shrine. At an Uttar Pradesh campaign rally, the senior politician also compared the recently revealed Congress electoral platform to something that might have come from the Muslim League.

“Every family in the nation made a contribution based on their level of commitment. A large flute was also given to Ayodhya by the Pilibhit people. However, the PM stated, “The INDI alliance members still harbour enmity now, just as they did before the Ram temple was built.

He charged that multiple attempts had been made by the opposition party to halt the building of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Modi claimed that by declining the invitation to Pran Pratistha and then “expelling leaders who attended it for six years,” the Congress had “insulted Lord Ram.”

The senior politician added that he had been threatened and mistreated by INDIA bloc leaders who wanted to halt the nation’s progress. Modi claimed that when he carried out the promise to consecrate Lord Ram’s idol at the Ayodhya temple, opposition leaders yelled insults. In support of his claim that Congress plotted to unseat India’s first tribal woman president, he also mentioned President Droupadi Murmu.

“Modi bows either before Lord Mahakal or before the public and for the development of the country and its service, I have also learnt to tolerate abuses,” he added during another poll rally in the Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh.

On April 19, Balaghat and Pilibhit will both cast ballots in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Votes will be tallied on June 4 following seven phases of elections being held throughout India.
