Prime Minister on Monday chaired a meeting of Union Council of Ministers at Pragati Maidan. During the meeting PM Modi asked his Council of Ministers to focus on 2047 rather 2024 stressing upon strengthening growth when India will celebrate its centenary of its independence.
Mr Modi said, in next 25 years India will see highly educated working sector with cutting-edfe technologies in all the sectors. He termed the era till 2047 as “Amrit Kaal”.
During the meeting, ministers representing different ministries spoke about their ideas on India’s road map for development in the next 25 years.
After the meeting, taking to his Twitter handle Prime Minister shared a picture with the ministers and captioned it, “A fruitful meeting with the Council of Ministers, where we exchanged views on diverse policy related issues.”
Further the Prime Minister asked his Council of Ministers to inform public about their developmental work that his government has done in its 9 years of power.
He even asked the ministers to create a calendar of their 12 major achievements schemes of their respective areas.
As per the sources, there might a Cabinet reshuffle ahead the general elections next year. The meeting took place amid such speculations.
