Noticing a declining trend in new Covid-19 cases govt declares second wave on wane

Noticing the country reporting a declining trend in Covid-19 cases and deaths, the Centre on Tuesday said that the second wave is on wane.

According to official data 18 states and Union territories including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Delhi UP have been showing continuous decresing trend in Covid-19 daily cases. While, 16 states and UTs including Punjab, West Begal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are the ones who have been showing an increasing trend in daily cases.

After recording an highest mark of 4.14 lakh Covid-19 cases India in last 24 hours have recorded a declined figure of 3.29 lakh cases after 14 days.

In the mean time, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal om Tuesday suggested the Centre to disclose the anti-Covid-19 formula of the two vaccine manufacturers — Bharat Biotech and the Serum Institute of India to other vaccine manufacturers to ramp up production. He also said that the centre should make sure that all the vaccine manufacturing plants generate Covid-19 vaccine doses.
