The Noida Police has issued an traffic advisory with a warning to commuters for possible diversions near Delhi-Noida border after the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) and Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) announced a tractor march today.
Pertaining to safety concerns, the police has imposed Section 144 and additional security personnel have been deployed at the key entries and exits near the border.
The two farmers’ outfits have decided to lead the tractor march covering the Yamuna Expressway – from Mehndipur in Rabuphra to Falaida.
In its advisory the Noida police have mentioned specific measures and alternative routes such as Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk Sector-15 for those traveling from Chilla border to Delhi, while the elevated route via the Film City flyover in Sector 18 has been suggested for those traveling from DND border.
For the commuters coming through Yamuna Expressway have been requested to take alternative routes or best to use metro to minimise the disruptions.
Meanwhile, the goods vehicles may face restrictions on their way today and hence, the drivers have been requested to go through alternative routes.
However, some restrictions on the Singhu and Tikri borders were lifted on Sunday after the farmers’ announced to halt their ‘Delhi Chalo’ march.
