The National Investigating Agency arrested 13 people this morning in ISIS terror module case after conducting raids at 40 different locations in Maharashtra. The central anti-terror agency also raided multiple places in Karnataka also.
Most of the places raided in Maharashtra were in Thane Rural (31) and Thane city (9) while, in Pune two places were raided and one was in Mira Bhagandar, said the sources.
Last August a suspect named Aakif Ateeque Nachan was arrested for allegedly being involved in making explosives. He is also the sixth accused to be arrested in the ISIS terror module case.
Five others including Zubair Mood Mohammed Shaikh alias Abu Nusaiba and Adnan Sarkar from Pune, Zulfikar Ali Badodawala and Sharjeel Shaikh from Thane and Tabish Nasser Siddiqui from Mumbai were also arrested last month.
