As ED summons K Kavitha for the second round of questioning today, new posters criticising BJP emerge in all over Hyderabad in support of the BRS leader.
The posters featured BJP national general secretary BL Santosh as accused of poaching and with a sign of ‘wanted’.
While, some other posters made a callback to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pre-poll promise of ₹15 lakh to be credited in every India’s account.
The BRS also put up posters against the investigating agencies last week across the city with the images of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The two leaders were charged of corruption before they quit from Congress and joined BJP.
In the mean time, Ms Kavitha has challenged the summons made by ED by moving the Supreme Court seeking protection from arrest in alleged Delhi liquor policy. The top court will hear her petition on March 24.
The ED on March 11, grilled the senior BRS leader for around straight 9 hours. During her questioning, she was made to confront the statements made by Hyderabad businessman Arun Ramchandran Pillai, who is already under arrest in the case.
