‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’, a crime drama directed by Neeraj Pandey, has released its much-awaited trailer. It stars Jeet Madnani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, and Parambrata Chatterjee.
‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ is a gripping tale of crime, corruption, and law enforcement that takes place in Kolkata in the 2000s. The show centers on a committed IPS officer who battles influential politicians and criminals to restore justice and peace. The teaser demonstrates how a courageous police officer fights against individuals in positions of authority to protect a shaky legal system. When politicians and gangsters held uncontested power in the early 2000s, IPS Arjun Maitra dared to question the system.
Taking to X, Netflix India dropped the trailer of the series. “Police, gangsters, aur sarkaar- iss chakravyuh mein kaun hai sabse shaatir? Watch Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, out 20 March, only on Netflix!,” reads the caption.
“Khakee: The Bengal Chapter” includes Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Jeet Madnani. Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Pooja Chopra, Chitrangada Singh, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das complete the ensemble.
At a star-studded ceremony in Kolkata, the series’ teaser was released by the producers.
“The world of Khakee has always been about larger-than-life conflicts, high-stakes drama, and nuanced characters that redefine the lines between good and evil. With Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, we take this intensity to a whole new level,” said showrunner Neeraj Pandey in a statement.
He added, “Set against the vivid backdrop of Kolkata, this chapter delves into gripping power struggles and follows a relentless IPS officer who dares to challenge the system. The entire ensemble cast has delivered exceptional performances, ensuring that Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is an evolution of the beloved narrative.”

The conflict in “Khakee: The Bihar Chapter” was between a notorious gang leader and Amit Lodha, an Indian Police Service officer. Karan Tacker, Abhimanyu Singh, Avinash Tiwary, and Brijeshwar Singh are among its cast members. Actors Jatin Sarna, Ashutosh Rana, Nikita Dutta, Anup Soni, Shraddha Das, Neeraj Kashyap, Bharat Jha, Aishwarya Sushmita, and Ravi Kishan are also featured. November 25, 2022, was the release date of the series.
The series is directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. Showrunner Neeraj Pandey has co-written the script along with Debatma Mandal and Samrat Chakraborty. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter premieres on March 20 on Netflix.
