Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday raided actor Armaan Kohli’s residence and found some narcotics from his house in Mumbai, said sources. The actor has now been arrested and being questioned for allegedly keeping banned drugs in house.
He was being questioned by NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and others, he told. Small amount of cocaine was recovered from his house. The NCB raided Kohli’s residence after the agency apprehended a history sheeter peddler on August 28, who gave the information about Kohli being a client.
According to the sources, the peddler was supplying drugs to other Bollywood celebrities also.
The NCB is also tracking the route and links being used in bringing cocaine to Mumbai and all others involved in smugglers. Further probing is underway.
Armaan Kohli has featured in Salman starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and many other films and was also one of the contestants in Television reality show Bigg Boss.
Subsequent to Kohli’s arrest, TV actor Gaurav Dixit was also arrested by the centra anti-drugs agency in Mumbai.
