The wrestlers’ Monday protest against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was joined by Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Sidhu earlier declared in a tweet that he would join the wrestlers in Jantar Mantar at noon, referring to the demonstration as a “Satyagraha.”
The protesting wrestlers, who originally accused Singh of sexual harassment in January, renewed their sit-in last Sunday in order to demand that the Centre-appointed panel that investigated the claims make its findings public.
