MHA Allows Z+ Security To West Bengal Governor CV Bose

C V Ananda Bose, the governor of West Bengal, has been granted “Z+” category security protection by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) based on an evaluation of the threat level made by intelligence agencies.

As a result of the threat assessment report from the intelligence department, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) granted Governor CV Anand Bose Z+ category security. Security for CV Anand Bose will be provided by CRPF commandos located all over the nation.

Sources claim that CV Anand Bose served on the West Bengal post-poll violence inquiry commission before being elected governor.

The security category is divided into five groups and given to a person once the hazards have been evaluated. Security levels X, Y, Z, Z+, SPG, and others are offered.

Athletes, celebrities, politicians, VIPs, and VVIPs all have access to this kind of security.

The highest level of central protective protection is Z plus. Depending on the perceived threat, a Z category protectee often receives 35 to 40 commandos on a rotating basis.

The Y category is given a permanent protection for 11 individuals, consisting of two Personal Security Officers (PSOs). The protection cover for this, India’s fifth critical security level, consists of two security experts who are both armed police personnel.
