Leopard Attacks 8 People Entering Ghaziabad Court

On Wednesday afternoon, a leopard entered the Ghaziabad courthouse and attacked at least eight persons, according to officials. Officials claimed that after 9 pm, following a four-hour joint police-forest operation, the huge cat was saved.

At least eight persons were hurt in the event, according to Abhishek Srivastav, Assistant Commissioner of Police (KaviNagar). “According to the information we have, eight people have been hurt, but no one has been gravely hurt. While some received hospital care, others felt better after receiving first assistance, he continued.

Officials claimed that as soon as they learned about the animal, the court complex was abandoned. Police officers and representatives from the forest department eventually helped some people who were trapped inside.

Pictures and videos of the incident that were posted on social media show a group of attorneys assisting a man whose clothes appear to be covered in blood and who appears to be gravely hurt. In a related video, a man can be seen attempting to halt the flow of blood from his neck’s left side.

According to lawyer Sumit Kumar, a Ghaziabad court practitioner and one of the witnesses to the incident, his coworkers have suffered major injuries. “We learned that a leopard had entered the ancient structure at around 4 o’clock. I’m not sure where it originated. The leopard started off by attacking a worker at the courthouse. Also attacked was one of my attorneys. He had a major injury and is in the hospital. Around 9 o’clock at night, after business hours, the leopard was saved, according to Kumar.
