Actor-turned-critic Kamaal Rashid Khan has hit back at Manoj Bajpayee in a series of tweets after the actor filed a defamation case against him. In his tweets KRK has asserted that he has not gotten any such notice. Besides he accused Manoj for making Bollywood ‘gang up against him’, and that he will not withdraw and will keep on review his movies.
“I haven’t received any notice till now but media says that Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation case against me in Indore? When Manoj is living in Mumbai then why he went to Indore to file a case? He doesn’t trust @Mumbai Police and judiciary? You all know who is from Indore?,” KRK tweeted.
He did not stopped there and kept on tweeting, “And who asked Manoj to file case from Indore to harass me instead of Mumbai. Dadu ji you can’t save your career by harassing me. You are making entire bollywood to gang up against me to stop me from reviewing ur films but it won’t work. I will still review ur all films.”
As per Manoj Bajpayee’s legal counselor, the actor himself had showed up before the court to record his statement. He filed the criminal case in the court of judicial magistrate first class against KRK under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation). He additionally asked the court to file a criminal defamation case in the matter. Talking with media, Bajpayee’s legal counselor Paresh Joshi said, “Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation private criminal complaint against KRK. And in that criminal complaint, his (Manoj’s) statement was also recorded by the honourable court. The next date for hearing is on September 4.”
On July 26, KRK had written rather offensive tweets about the actor and also for his show The Family Man. Calling Bajpayee ‘Charsi, Ganjedi (a marijuana addict),’ KRK said that he doesn’t watch web series.
KRK has been reprimanded by a few many celebs for his unpleasant tweets on a few events, including Vikram Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and most lately, Salman Khan.
