In December 2021, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot, all the while keeping their premarital relationship private. The actress recently expressed her concern on their wedding schedule, stating that she was anxious because it fell within the post-lockdown phase.
Organising the wedding was a nerve-wracking process, Katrina Kaif recently stated at the Red Sea Film Festival, especially as they were attempting to reunite her family from all over the world after the shutdown. The ‘Tiger 3’ actor said, “We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many, many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families there. All that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family had to be there from all the corners of the world which we managed. So yes, that was wonderful.”
She also talked about her tight relationship with her brother and her five sisters, who she claimed to be her strong support system. “My sisters became my support system. We are an insular unit that we don’t need anyone else. People are welcome, but when we all are together, it feels complete,” she said.
Regarding her career, Katrina Kaif most recently starred opposite Salman Khan in “Tiger 3.” She also has a number of future roles, including “Merry Christmas,” directed by Sriram Raghavan, starring Vijay Sethupathi.
On the other side, Vicky Kaushal never fails to dazzle the audience with his roles; “Sam Bahadur” is his most recent. He is working on a number of future films, including “Dunki,” directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Shah Rukh Khan, and an untitled movie with director Anand Tiwari.
