According to police, Pakistan sent an email threatening Kapil Sharma’s life. Kapil Sharma joined the ranks of famous people who have recently received threat emails, such as Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D’Souza. In accordance with section 351(3) of the BNS, a formal complaint has been filed with Amboli Police against an unidentified individual. The investigation has been initiated by the police.
The authorities claim that Pakistan was the source of the threat email. According to the email, “We are keeping an eye on your recent activity and feel it is necessary to draw your attention to a delicate issue. Please take this letter very seriously and keep it private; it is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to bother you. ‘BISHNU’ was the sender’s signature final.
According to the police, the celebrities had eight hours to respond, failing which they would be subject to both personal and professional repercussions. Recently, comedian Kapil Sharma filed a police complaint.
Before him, Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza had also received the identical letter and lodged complaints at the police station. The letter was delivered to Rajpal Yadav on December 14 of last year. On December 17, he reported the incident to the police. The message was in Rajpal Yadav’s spam folder.
In an audio message, Rajpal Yadav told, “I have filed a complaint with Amboli Police and cyber crime department. After that, I haven’t discussed it with anyone. I am an artiste and I want to entertain audience with my performances. The agencies can update on these matters.”
Since celebrities are being singled out one after another, Mumbai Police have started looking into the complaints as quickly as possible. In October of last year, politician Baba Siddique was shot and killed close to his home in Mumbai’s Bandra neighborhood.
The gang of imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the murder. Salman Khan increased his security measures, even equipping his balcony with bulletproof windows. Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder at his Bandra residence early on Thursday of last week. The actor suffered serious injuries after being stabbed six times. Doctors reportedly took the 2.5-inch knife out of his wound.
On Tuesday night (January 21), Saif Ali Khan went back to his residence after receiving treatment at the Lilavati Hospital. He gestured to his home’s fans and the photographers that were there. After being attacked on Wednesday night, the actor encountered auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who drove him to the hospital.
