Kalpana Raghavendar, a well-known playback singer, was discovered unconscious at her Rangareddy, Telangana, home. On Tuesday, March 4, the 44-year-old singer was found in a concerning state and was taken right away to a local hospital.
Since then, her health has improved, and she is currently getting the care she needs. Authorities said that at approximately 5 p.m., the apartment committee called the KPHB police station in an emergency. Officers discovered Kalpana’s apartment door locked when they arrived at her home. But they could see the singer comatose on her bed via the kitchen window.
Kalpana was taken by ambulance to the Holistic Hospital by the police and emergency personnel. At 6 p.m., her husband showed up shortly after. According to the doctors, she is getting the right care and her condition is now stable. A statement from the KPHB police station revealed, “We received a call from the apartment committee at 5 pm. Upon arrival, we found the door locked, but through the kitchen window, spotted Kalpana lying unconscious on her bed. We quickly transported Kalpana to the Holistic Hospital in an ambulance, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Her husband also reached by 6 pm. Her condition is better now. No case has been registered.”
There are currently no additional details available regarding the incident’s cause. Since she has sung many well-known songs in different languages over the years, Kalpana is well-known for her contributions to the Indian music industry. Her most well-known songs are Pogiren from 36 Vayadhinile, for which she also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, and Navamoorthulainatti from Intinta Annamayya.
