On Wednesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police unveiled sketches of the four terrorists who carried out the two assaults in the Doda district and declared a ₹ 20 lakh reward for information that resulted in their capture.
Terrorists opened fire on a joint police and 4 Rashtriya Rifles checkpost at Chattergalla in Bhaderwah on Tuesday, then on Wednesday, an attack in the district’s Gandoh area wounded seven security personnel, including a policeman.
“Jammu and Kashmir Police has released sketches of four terrorists who are believed to be in the upper reaches of Bhaderwah, Thathri, Gandoh and carrying out terror-related activities,” a police spokesperson said.
He added that there’s an advertised ₹ 5 lakh cash prize for information leading to the identity of each terrorist.
The people are being urged by the Jammu and Kashmir Police to share information regarding the whereabouts and activities of these terrorists.
Police offered a ₹ 20 lakh reward for information leading to the identity of a terrorist involved in the attack on a passenger bus in the Reasi district, and they also issued a sketch of the attacker on Tuesday night.
Terrorists opened fire on a 53-seat pilgrimage bus on Sunday when it was travelling from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra, which is located close to Teryath hamlet in the Poni district.
Following the firing, the bus carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi fell into a steep gorge, killing nine people and injuring forty-one more.
