The GSLV-F10 rocket that Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota, nearly 100 km from Chennai on Thursday, August 12, 2021 morning has failed to launch earth perception satellite EOS-3 into the planned orbit.
Chairman of ISRO K. Sivan said that a “technical anomaly was observed in the cryogenic stage and the mission could not be accomplished.”
Earlier the ISRO had said tweeting, “GSLV-F10 had lifted off successfully” from the spaceport.
The proposed mission was to situate EOS-03 in Geostationary orbit. The satellite was relied upon to give real time imaging of enormous space of interest at regular spans, which could be utilized for fast observing of catastrophic events, long winded occasions and any transient occasions.
