India has reported 60,471 fresh Covid-19 cases with 2,726 deaths in last 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday. With this, the national caseload of Covid-19 cases has ascended to 29,570,881 and deaths to 377,031.
This is for the eighth progressive day that the nation has seen under 100,000 new cases in a day. On June 8, the Union Health Ministry announced 86,498 new cases from the past 24 hours, which implied that interestingly since early April, or 66 days, the country’s total positive cases rose by under 100,000.
