The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched searches at more than 70 sites across several states on Tuesday as part of a significant campaign against gangster syndicate.
Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh were among the places searched.
In Punjab, the searches were being carried out in more than 30 different places.
The current searches are related to an investigation into a case that the NIA filed against a gangster and their criminal organisation. The NIA has conducted four searches on the gangster network.
