The funeral of Ganster-politician Mukhtar Ansari will today be held in Ghazipur of Uttar Pradesh with tight security deployment.
Mr Ansari’s body was brought back to his hometown Ghazipur after the postmortem examination at Rani Durgavati Medical College in Banda district.
A convoy of total 26 vehicles taking the ambulance carrying Mukhtar Ansari’s body crosses several districts including Kaushambi, Varanasi, Prayagdaj and Bhadoni to reach Ghazipur.
Mr Ansari’s body was accompanied by his two sons Abbas Ansari And Umar Ansari and former’s wife inside the ambulance. The route for the ambulance was meticulously planned by the Uttar Pradesh government keeping in view the security situations.
Heavy security has been deployed surrounding the Ghazipur as the funeral is going to take place today. The Ansari’s have decided the Mohammadabad’s Kalo Bagh as the final place for the former political leader.
In the mean time, a controversy has occured surrounding Mr Ansari’s death as his family has alleged that he was victimized to “slow poisoning” during his incarceration. However, the postmortem examination has confirmed that the gangster-politician died of a heart attack.
