Gadar 2, OMG 2 And Others Lined Up For Assortments On OTT This Month

October is arrived, and the digital world is brimming with a variety of titles, from action to comedic dramas to spy thrillers.

Every click on the OTT platforms will uncover the world of the undiscovered treasures of engrossing tales, breath-taking journeys, and irreplaceable personalities, guiding you on a cinematic voyage unlike any other.

This week’s OTT offerings, which include “Gadar 2” starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, “OMG 2” starring Akshay Kumar, and “Mumbai Diaries” starring Mohit Raina, will thrill you and promise to amuse you with a wide variety of engaging content.

‘Gadar 2’ is directed and produced by Anil Sharma, and written by Shaktimaan Talwar. It is a sequel to the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.

The film stars Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, Ameesha Patel as Sakeena, and Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet, reprising their roles from the first film. It also features Gaurav Chopra, Manish Wadhwa, Luv Sinha, and Dolly Bindra in pivotal roles.

‘Gadar 2’ was theatrically released on August 11, and became a commercial success. It will now premiere on OTT platform Zee5 on October 6.

‘OMG 2’ is a comedy-drama starring actors Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi that was written and directed by Amit Rai. In the film, sex education in India is discussed. Yami Gautam, Pavan Malhotra, Govind Namdev, Arun Govil, and Brijendra Kala are among the other actors who appear in it.

The movie creates an amazing cinematic experience by fusing humor and deep ideas. It is a metaphorical follow-up to the 2012 film “OMG- Oh My God.”

‘OMG 2’ is presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Cape of Good Films and Wakaoo Films. It is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Andhare, Swaroop Paresh Rawal, Hema A. Thakkar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl.

On October 8, Netflix will begin broadcasting “OMG 2” via its OTT service.

Directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under the production of Emmay Entertainment, ‘Mumbai Diaries 2’ is a medical drama which is about staff of the Bombay General Hospital dealing with the floods affecting the city and its people.

The show stars Mohit Raina in the lead, who plays Dr Kaushik Oberoi, Head of Trauma Surgery at the Bombay General Hospital. Konkona Sen Sharma plays Dr Chitra Das in the series, who is the director of Social Services at Bombay General Hospital.

‘Mumbai Diaries 2′ also features Shreya Dhanwantary, Natasha Bharadwaj, Satyajeet Dubey and Mrunmayee Deshpande in pivotal roles.

The first season of ‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11’ released on September 9, 2021. The eight episodic series will premiere on October 6 on Prime Video.

The cast of “Khufiya,” which is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, includes Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon. It is based on the book “Escape to Nowhere,” authored by the former head of R&AW’s Counter Espionage Unit, Amar Bhushan, and based on actual events.

From October 5, see a tale of love, loyalty, vengeance, and treachery on Netflix.

When searching the multiverse for Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes in the second season of the American television series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Loki teams up with Mobius M Mobius, Hunter B-15, and other TVA members. The Marvel Cinematic Universe serves as its backdrop.

The season is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as head writer, and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team. Tom Hiddleston stars as Loki, Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong (Miss Minutes), Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, and Owen Wilson (Mobius).

It also features Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan. The second season will stream on Disney plus on October 5.
