The process of filing nominations is awaited for Uttar Pradesh’s fourth phase of assembly elections to the issuance of notification on Thursday.
The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will take place in seven phases starting from February 10 to March 7, while the fourth phase will take place on February 23 on 59 assembly seats.
As per the notification from the Election Commission, the filing of nominations may go upto February 3 and the scrutiny may take place on February 4, while, the candidate can be withdrawn till February 7.
The vote counting will take place on March 10, after the completion of all the elections in five states.
Amid the view of Covid-19 pandemic the apex poll body had banned physical rallied and roadshows till 31st January.
