Earthquake Of 4.7 Magnitude Hite Afghanistan For 3rd Time In Week

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred today at 7:06 am IST 285km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan. The tremor today is the third in just seven days. So far, there have been no reports of injuries or property harm.

NSE wrote today, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.7, Occurred on 09-03-2023, 07:06:38 IST, Lat: 38.22 & Long: 73.47, Depth: 107 Km, Location: 285km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 happened in Afghanistan earlier on Tuesday. (NCS). Afghanistan was the location of the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 4.1 and occurred on February 28, 2023, at 4:05 IST (Indicative Standard Time), according to a statement from NCS on Sunday.

At 2:35 am IST on March 2, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook Afghanistan’s Fayzabad area. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reports that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 245 kilometers and at coordinates 37.73 latitude and 73.47 longitude. The earthquake occurred at latitude 36.38 and longitude 70.94, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 02-03-2023, 02:35:57 IST, Lat: 37.73 & Long: 73.47, Depth: 245 Km, Location: 267km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan,” the National Center for Seismology wrote in a tweet.
